A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our branch in Newton St Petrock as a Branch Manager.  This is a full-time position working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.30 pm with a 30 minute lunch break.

You will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered, the day to day operation of the store, which will include the commercial and financial aspects of the business.

Responsibilities;

  • All aspects of running the branch
  • Maximise store sales and achieve margin expectations
  • Analysing data to look for opportunities to maximise sales
  • People development / management, succession, and skillset
  • Communicate safe working practices across the team
  • Conduct assurance activity to ensure compliance with safe working practices
  • Ensuring high standards of customer service are being delivered
  • Fostering strong links with the local community

About You;

  • You’ll have a passion for agriculture or associated trades!
  • You’ll have at least 2 years management experience, gained either within a store-based role or trade environment and have been responsible for managing a team
  • Ideally, you’ll have experience in a similar, fast-paced environment where you’ve taken a hands-on approach
  • You’ll have a proven track record of delivering high standards and great results!
  • You’ll be a people person and a real team player and this combined with your excellent communication skills enables you to really engage and inspire a team
  • You’ll be commercially focused and proactive in your approach
